Samuel Hills Paine

Samuel Hills was born in 1778 in Dutchess, New York. Samuel Hills' father was Brinton Paine and his mother was Hannah Paine. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Paine and Deborah Paine. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Eleazer, George Clinton, Betsey, Violetta, Susan, Polly, Hannah, Deborah and Clarissa. He died at the age of 35 on January 2nd, 1813 in Geneva, New York.

- DEATH: Samuel died on a visit to Geneva, NY. His wife remarried but their son Brinton was then raised by Samuel's brother George C. Paine and his first wife Clarissa.
