Joel Paine

Joel was born on March 31st, 1778 in Bolton, Tolland, Connecticut. Joel's father was Edward Paine and his mother was Betsey Paine. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Paine and Deborah Paine. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joel, Edward, Charles Henry, Asahel King, Elizabeth, Roxalina, Nancy and Lydia. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John Walworth, Sally Maria and Eliza. He died at the age of 35 on April 8th, 1813.
