Elizabeth Milligan

Elizabeth was born in 1807.¹ Elizabeth's father is John MacDougall and her mother was Ann MacDougall. Her paternal grandfather was Peter MacDougall and her paternal grandmother is Marrion MacDougall. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Allan, John (Richard), Jane and Katherine. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 88 in 1895.¹

- Note 2: Barbara Ann Milligan's mother Marguarit (Margaret) McDougald (MacDougall) was the daughter of Duncan MacDougall and Barbara Stewart of Malpeque. Margaret MacDougall was the sister of Mrs. John MacLean Jr (Sarah MacDougall 1842-1909), Father Archibald MacDougall, and Mrs. Robert England Sr. Alexander Milligan and five brothers came with their parents from the Scottish Lowlands and settled in St Eleanor's, P.E.I. where they were ship builders. Alexander moved his family to Lower Brae about 1860. BH Pp 162.
