Hershl Szwarc

Hershl was born in 1921 in Serock, Pultusk, Warszaw, Poland.¹ Hershl's father was Itzsho Szwarc and his mother was Zlate Pieniek. His paternal grandparents are Aaron Szwarc and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Meyer Moishe Pieniek and Miriam Reizel Berkerowicz. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Nachman, Chaya Rachel (Chaytsho), Chava (Chavo), Tauba, Tsiril, Peia and Lea. He died in the Holocaust in Biala, Podlaska, Poland.
