Izrael was born on January 6th, 1846 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.1   Izrael's father was Lewin Pieniek and his mother was Dwora Gittel Przyszwa.  His paternal grandparents were Abram Pieniek and Gela (Gitla). He had two brothers and two sisters, named Iciek, Salamon, Maria and Chana.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 2 on August 13th, 1848 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.1
