Iciek was born on March 8th, 1852 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.1   Iciek's father was Lewin Pieniek and his mother was Dwora Gittel Przyszwa.  His paternal grandparents were Abram Pieniek and Gela (Gitla). He had two brothers and two sisters, named Izrael, Salamon, Maria and Chana.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 1 on April 2nd, 1853.
