Rachel was born in 1927.  Rachel's father is Shlomo Elimelech (Solomon) Nuss (King) and her mother was Leah (Lena) Pieniek (Tekulsky).  Her paternal grandparents were Yaakov David Nuss and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Menachem Mendel Pieniek and Rachel. She had two brothers and a sister, named Jacob (Jackie) David, Menachem Mendel and Krendel Esther.  She died at the age of 75 in 2002 in Cape Town, South Africa.  She was buried in Haifa, Israel.
