Maria Austen
Maria was born on February 25th, 1819 in Rolvenden, Kent, U.K. and her baptism took place on April 12th, 1840 in Petersham, NSW. Maria's father was James Austen and her mother was Mary Drury.  Her paternal grandparents were John Austen and June Sawyer; her maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Ambrose, Eliza and Harriett.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died from a stroke at the age of 52 on September 20th, 1871 in Dalby, QLD, Australia.  The funeral took place on September 21st, 1871.
