Eliza was born about January 1817 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on April 18th, 1817 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1   Eliza's father was Andrew Quash (pos born Exeter) and her mother was Elizabeth Hall.  Her maternal grandparents were John Hall and Ann. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, William, John, Ann, Martha, Susanna and Emma.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  She died about September 28th, 1904 in East Ham.  The funeral took place on October 1st, 1904 at St Mary Magdalene East Ham.  She was buried on October 1st, 1904 at St Mary Magdalene East Ham.2 3

Eliza and Samuel  were married in a religious ceremony on March 27th, 1839 in All Saints West Ham witnessed by Susanna Quash & Richard Golledge. They had two sons and four daughters, named Samuel, George, Eliza, Agnes, Elizabeth and Agnes.
