Andrew was born on November 17th, 1811 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on December 15th, 1811 at St Margarets Barking.1   Andrew's father was Andrew Quash (pos born Exeter) and his mother was Elizabeth Hall.  His maternal grandparents were John Hall and Ann. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Ann, Martha, Eliza, Susanna and Emma.  He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 58 on December 18th, 1869 in Orwell St Grimsby.  The funeral took place on December 21st, 1869 at St James Grimsby.  He was buried on December 21st, 1869 at St James Grimsby.2 3

Andrew and Charlotte were married in a religious ceremony on November 20th, 1842 in All Saints West Ham witnessed by Joseph Ship & Susanna Quash.  They had seven sons and four daughters, named Andrew, John, William, John, Alfred, Joseph, Albert, Lizzie, Mary, Alice and Kezia.
