George was born on June 20th, 1694 in Eckington, Derbyshire, England.  George's father was George STANIFORTH and his mother was Sarah (UNKNOWN).  His paternal grandparents were George STANIFORTH and Dorothy (UNKNOWN).  He had a brother named Thomas.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 69 on February 7th, 1764 in Eckington, Derbyshire, England.
