Abraham was born in 1791.  Abraham's father was Thomas SIMPSON and his mother was Elizabeth BOX.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas BOX and Anna PADMORE.  He had nine brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, John, John, Richard, Thomas, Joseph, Isaac, Jacob, Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the youngest of the twelve children.
