    George W. Walker Barr Township Dies
       George W. Walker, a prominent farmer ofBarr township, died Sunday night [Oct 1] at his home from pulmonary tuberculosis.  Mr. Walker had been ill for some time and death came after much suffering.  His only child, Mrs. Frank Dunn, of Barr township, survives him.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, Barr township.

Walker and Belinda Mattingly.  Military Record:  Born 3 Jun 1842 - died 1 Oct 1911 - buried St. Mary's.  The first wife of George W. Walker was Matilda Brewer and his second marriage was to Julia Ann Bowling.
