MORGAN 74 PA 1169/1169 and Lewis C. MORGAN 32 IN at 1173/1173, cf. Morgan Cemetery in T3N R5W sec 31 of Barr Twp, on other side of county road 800 from Rebecca and Ignatius.

    3 Jun 1838, Zachariah Walker & wife Louisa sell to Ignatius Walker, for $100 "within the term four years from date the receipt" of land," four acres lying south of where the state road now runs" from SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of section 36 of T3N R6W "and bounded as follows to wit by Joseph [Miller to the] South by Rebecca Walker on the east."  (source:  Deed Book (Grantor) Jan 1817  Aug 1852, Daviess County Courthouse Land Records, Book D, pp. 221-222.
    
    Named in husband Joseph's will dated 26 Dec 1835 and filed 3 Mar 1836.
    
    Also a possible hit; however, this head of h/hold does not live next to any other WALKER h/hold.  In the 1840 census for Daviess Cty there is another head of h/hold named Rebecca WALKER, male-female 00011-000000001 (0-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20, 20-30, etc.), thus 1 male age 15-20, 1 male age 20-30, 1 female age 15-20, 1 female age 30-40, 1 female age 60-70 (Rebecca?).

    1830 US Census for Daviess, IN has Joseph WALKER 001400001-0100101, thus one male 10-15 (James D. 1815), four males 15-20 (Zachariah, Ignatius and two unknown sons b (KY) est 1810-1815) and one male 60-70 (head of h/hold Joseph Sr.), plus one female 5-10 (Mary), one female 20-30 (Nancy Ann), and one female 40-50 (wife Rebecca)
    
    Same page includes a John DAVIS h/hold 000000001, thus one male 60-70 (no females); and a Levi DAVIS h/hold 000010001-10110001.  Perhaps these are brothers of Joseph WALKER Sr.'s wife Rebecca DAVIS.

    At least one child born when husband thought to have gone west to KY in 1810, not clear whether Rebecca went with him first off; a Rebecca WALKER appears as a head of household in Baltimore, MD in 1810:  11000-0112000, thus one free white male 0-10 (1800-1810), one free white male 10-16 (1794-1800), one free white female 10-16, one free white female 16-26 (1784-1794), and two free white females 26-45 (1765-1784).  This does not seem to tally with Joseph Sr.'s h/hold.

    There are 2,126 DAVIS heads of h/hold in 1790 US Census, 196 of them in MD, 14 of them in St. Mary's County:  Anthony, Elizabeth, Enos, George, Hizikiah [sic], John B., Joseph, Margaret, Peregrine, Philip, Philip Ju[nio]r, Stephen, Susanna and Walter).
    
    There is a Forrest DAVIS who moved from MD to KY btwn 1780-1820, per the Nelson County Genealogist, Vol 18 #2 and #3, taken from the compiled list of Wm. G. O'Toole of Sept 1997 of MD to KY Settlers based on historical accounts by Webb, Mattingly and Schauniger; transcribed by Shirley Platt.
