    from father John Miller Walker's probate record notes:  probate record notes: "John M. Walker departed this life testate on the 5th day of January, 1931.."  .  Children Samuel Walker, Mary B. Ward, Elizabeth J. Seal, George L. Walker, L. Bernard Walker, Marion Walker, and Benedict J. Walker.  Estate included over 200 acres of land in Daviess Cty, divided among children except for Benedict J.  L. Bernard and his wife Anna M. cared for John Miller for "many weeks" prior to his death and received a special bequest for "care, support and maintenance."Final entry is from 3 Feb 1932, administrator Charles M. Graves (d. 23 Jan 1932), later replaced by L. Bernard Walker, who settled all outstanding accounts; lawyer was F. A. Seal.
    
    Walker family oral history:  never married.  Appears in father John Miller's h/hold in 1900, 1910 and January 1920 (censuses), single.  Unable to locate in any state in 1930 census.

    age 22, b 10 Dec 1894, laborer, engaged in farming, works on farm of John M. WALKER in Cannelburg, IN, med ht, slender build, eyes gray, hair light, not bald, card dated 5 Jun 1917
    
    Age given as 15 in 1910 US Census, unlike brothers (farm laborers on home farm), occupation given as "laborer" performing "odd jobs."
    
    Evansville diocese, Judy Neff:  Benedict Walker, son of John Walker and Mary Padget, was born 10 December 1894 and baptized 21 December 1894 at St. Peter, Montgomery.
