General Notes

Source: BB using US (New York) censuses of 1870 and 1880.  She is living as the "cousin" of Margaret Gray (aged 62) in the 1900 New York census but she is actually the niece of Margaret.

In the 1910 census, she is living in West 34th Street, aged 42, Head of Household, still unmarried, with niece and nephew, Christina and Arthur Shaw, aged 23 and 21 respectively, who had a Scottish born father and a New York born mother.  It seems likely there are the children of her sister, Sarah Maria Gray as she is the only sister I have for Isabella.  This is now confirmed by the IGI Civil marriage record of Sarah Maria.
