Elisabeth Towers

Elisabeth was born in March 1846 in Paisley Abbey parish.¹ Elisabeth's father was William Tours and her mother was Margaret Colquhoun. Her paternal grandparents were William Tours and Janet Fulton. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Walter, Margaret, Janet, Isabella, Cecillia and Christina. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died due to a medical problem, smallpox, at 3 months old on June 1st, 1846 in Paisley Abbey parish.¹
