Isobel Shaw (Isobella, Elisabeth)

Isobel was born on September 8th, 1785 in Kilsyth and her baptism took place there on September 11th, 1785.¹

Isobel's father was Alexander Shaw and her mother was Jean Tennant. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Christian Kirkwood; her maternal grandparents were James Tennant and Jean Shaw. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Robert, James, David, William, Christian, Alexander, James, John, Thomas, Jean and Jean. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died after 1851.
