Ann's father was James Scoffield and her mother was Jane Bone.  Her maternal grandparents were James Bone and Janet Duncan. She had a brother and five sisters, named James, Janet, Mary, Euphemia, Jean and Euphemia.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died due to natural causes or old age, Debility & old age, at the age of 68 on July 3rd, 1857 in Riccarton.  She was buried in Kilmarnock.^3 4
