Thomas Robertson 
Thomas was born on January 1st, 1825 in Newton-on-Ayr and his baptism took place on January 8th, 1825 in St. Quivox.1 2 Thomas' father was Thomas John Robertson and his mother was Elizabeth Jamieson. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Elizabeth and Euphemia. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, James, Robert, Margaret, Mary, Christina and Ann. He died due to heart disease, Enfeebled state of Heart combined with the effects of Alcohol on the nervous system, at the age of 40 on November 30th, 1865 in Ayr.3 -
