Agnes' father was Felix Quin and her mother was Elisabeth McDonald. Her maternal grandparents were Charles McDonald and Janet McNidder Robertson. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Charles, Hugh, Felix, William, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Janet and Janet. She died at the age of 46 in 1928 in Ardrossan.
