Isabella was born on September 13th, 1860 in Falkirk.1  Isabella's father was Michael Henderson and her mother was Margaret Galloway.  Her paternal grandparents were James Henderson and Isabel Walker; her maternal grandparents were Robert Galloway and Helen McLauchlan. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Michael, Robert, James, Alexander, John, Helen, Mary and Agnes.  She was the youngest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Jeanie.  She died at the age of 34 on January 21st, 1895 in Ulverston.  She was buried on January 24th, 1895 in Ulverston.
