Isabel was born in July 1792 in Falkirk and her baptism took place there on July 19th, 1792.  Isabel's father was Alexander Walker and her mother was Helen Laurence.  Her maternal grandparents were John Laurance and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, John, Jean and Janet.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died before 1841.
