Janet Hamilton

Janet was born in 1854 in Paisley.¹ Janet's father was John Hamilton and her mother was Janet Fraser. Her paternal grandparents were John Hamilton and Isabella Erskine; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Fraser and Helen Hamilton. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Thomas, Helen, Isabella, Jessie, Mary and Maggie. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
