Janet McLatchie

Janet was born on December 27th, 1772 in Old Cumnock and her baptism took place there on January 3rd, 1773.

  Old Cumnock OPR: "Jan’t lawful daughter of John McClatchie and Janet Crawford in Seykside was born on 27th Dec. 1772 & baptised 3rd Jan’y 1773."

Janet's father was John McLatchie and her mother was Janet Crawford. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Hugh, John, Robert, Marjory, Mary, Agnes and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died before July 23rd, 1855.¹
