Henry was born in 1715 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place there on August 28th, 1715.1   Henry's father was Lamont WILKINSON and his mother was Hannah STONEHOUSE.  His paternal grandparents were John WILKINSON and Ann; his maternal grandfather was Henry STONEHOUSE and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Margret and Esther.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 73 in 1788.
