Esther was born in 1712 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on September 7th, 1712.1   Esther's father was Lamont WILKINSON and her mother was Hannah STONEHOUSE.  Her paternal grandparents were John WILKINSON and Ann; her maternal grandfather was Henry STONEHOUSE and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Henry and Margret.  She was the third oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 67 in 1779.
