Margret was born in 1706 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on January 12th, 1706 conducted by Curate John Robinson.1   Margret's father was Lamont WILKINSON and her mother was Hannah STONEHOUSE.  Her paternal grandparents were John WILKINSON and Ann; her maternal grandfather was Henry STONEHOUSE and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Henry and Esther.  She was the oldest of the four children.
