Elizabeth was born on October 26th, 1800 in Whitby, Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on November 15th, 1800.1  Elizabeth's father was John COULTHIRST and her mother was Elizabeth GLAVES. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Thomas, Thomas, Jane, Ann, Mary, Dorothy and Sarah.  She was the seventh oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 36 on December 23rd, 1836 in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England.2
