Royal Fredrick Tilley 
Royal Fredrick was born on July 28th, 1919 in Orange Co, NC. Royal Fredrick's father was William Rountree Tilley and his mother was Mamie Mary Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Francis 'Frank' Albert Roberts and Elizabeth 'Bette' Ann Crabtree. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Guy Frances, William Lawrence, Robert Bratcher, Ernest Stearling, Herman Coleman, Wesley Bryant, Victor Orman, Ethel Caviness, Nora Elizabeth and Mamie Blanche. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 41 on May 1st, 1961 in Durham, Durham Co, NC. He was buried on May 3rd, 1961 in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, Durham Co, NC.General Notes
