Catharine's baptism took place on September 8th, 1768 in North Bradley.1  Catharine's father was Richard Shepherd and her mother was Mary Loaden. She had a sister named Jane. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Richard, John, Joseph, Ann, Betty and Catherine.
