Mary's baptism took place on August 6th, 1775 in North Bradley.1  Mary's father was Robert Pit and her mother was widow Mary Wilkins. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert, John, John, Lidia and Lydia. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Benjamin, John, Fanney and Frances.
