Bartholomew's baptism took place on October 4th, 1789 in North Bradley.1  Bartholomew's father was William Gunstone and his mother was Mary Barret.  His paternal grandparents were Matthew Gunstone and Betty. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Dinah, Solomon, William, James, James, Martha, Grace, Elizabeth, Sarah, Elizabeth and Betty.
