Peter's baptism took place on June 26th, 1774 in North Bradley.1  Peter's father was Shadrach Bennet and his mother was Mary Rundell.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennet and <Unknown>. He had six sisters named Betty, Edith, Susannah, Sarah, Susanna and Elanor. He had a half-brother named Thomas.
