Ann's baptism took place on February 25th, 1745 in North Bradley.1  Ann's father was Anthony Ashton and her mother was Mary Gibbs.  Her paternal grandparents were Moses Ashton and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were John Gibbs and Anne. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Mary, Betty and Sarah. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Moses, Anthony and Mary.
