Henry was born on June 25th, 1781 in Woodlands nr Doncaster and his baptism took place on August 21st, 1781.1  Henry's father was Thomas Bradford and his mother was Elizabeth Otter.  His maternal grandparents were William Otter and Elizabeth Pigot. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas, William and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died as a war casualty, wounded at Waterloo, at the age of 35 on December 17th, 1816 in Lilliere.
