Elizabeth was born in 1771 and her baptism took place on February 14th, 1771 in Doncaster Yorkshire.1  Elizabeth's father was Thomas Bradford and her mother was Elizabeth Otter.  Her maternal grandparents were William Otter and Elizabeth Pigot. She had four brothers named Thomas, Thomas, William and Henry.  She was the oldest of the five children.
