Mary's baptism took place on March 31st, 1805 in Seend.1  Mary's father was Silas Gibson and her mother was Sarah Grist.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gibsons and Frances. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Jane and Fanny.
