Jane was born in 1803 and her baptism took place on July 17th, 1803 in Seend.1  Jane's father was Silas Gibson and her mother was Sarah Grist.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gibsons and Frances. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas, Fanny and Mary.
