Michael SKEWES

Michael was born on December 18th, 1873 in Burra Mine, SA.¹   Michael's father was James Michael SKEWES and his mother was Helen Maria BRADY.  His paternal grandparents were John SKEWES and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BRADY and <Unknown>. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Edward, James, William, John, Horace, Jenkin, Albert, Sydney, Emily, Eva, Theresa, Annie and Helen.  He was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children.  He died at just 22 days old on January 9th, 1874 in Burra Mine, SA.²
