John Foster SKEWES

John was born on June 19th, 1875 in Kooringa, SA.¹   John's father was James Michael SKEWES and his mother was Helen Maria BRADY.  His paternal grandparents were John SKEWES and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BRADY and <Unknown>. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Edward, James, William, Michael, Horace, Jenkin, Albert, Sydney, Emily, Eva, Theresa, Annie and Helen.  He was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children.
