Georg Heinrich BARTEL

Georg was born on January 17th, 1884 in Peep Hill, SA.¹   Georg's father was Johann Gottlob BARTEL and his mother was Ernstine Louise KIEFEL.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Gottlob BARTEL and Maria Elis BINDER; his maternal grandparents were Johann Gottlieb KIEFEL and Maria Helena. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named August, Gustav, Ernst, Paul, Herman, Johannes, Anna, Emma, Clara, Martha, Bertha, Helene, Anna and Amalie.  He died in 1884.²
