Alfred Hards

Alfred was born on March 13th, 1873 in Gawler, S.A..¹ Alfred's father was John Hards and his mother was Mary Jane Turner. His maternal grandparents were John Browning Turner and Jane Atkins. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, William, George, Albert, Jane, Hards and Elizabeth. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on October 1st, 1874.¹
