Dolly Bowman 
Dolly was born in 1901 in Scarborough.1 Dolly's father was William Bowman and her mother was Elizabeth Hedley Hewitt. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Bowman and Emma Parkin; her maternal grandparents were William Rote Hewitt and Elizabeth Cammish (Hewitt). She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Lillie, Annie and Mabel. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
