William Bowman

William was born in 1873 in Ripon.¹   William's father was Henry Bowman and his mother was Emma Parkin.  His paternal grandparents were Christopher Bowman and Dorothy Peacock; his maternal grandparents were John Parkin and Elizabeth Clarkson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Frederick H, George, Jeffrey, Annie Elizabeth, Florence and Dorothy.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 70 in 1943.
