Samantha Watkins
Samantha was born on March 20th, 1865 in Garrard, Kentucky, United States.1 Samantha's father was Mark America Watkins and her mother was Amelia Porter. Her paternal grandparents were Luke W Watkins and Nancy Hopkins; her maternal grandparents were William Porter and Mary Polly Cathers. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry T, Mark America Jr, George W, Anna Eliza, Narcissa, Susan and Permelia. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William Franklin, John M, Elizabeth Emily, Telitha Eliza Cumi and Hiley Ann. She died at the age of 83 on August 3rd, 1948 in Rockcastle, Kentucky, United States.1 -
