Her paternal grandparents were Henry Iii King of England and Eleanore of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand Iii King De Castile and Jeanne De Dammartin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Edward Ii King of, Edmond (1st Earl of Kent) of, + Joan of Acre, Margaret of and Mary of. She was the third youngest of the six children. She married Jean I, Comte de Hollande et Zélande, son of Florent V, Comte de Hollande and Beatrix de Flandre, on 18 January 1297 in Ipswich Priory Church, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.
She married Humphrey de Bohun, 4th Earl of Hereford and the 3rd Earl of Essex, son of Humphrey de Bohun, 3rd Earl of Hereford and Maud de Fiennes, on 14 November 1302 in Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.
She died on 5 May 1316 at age 33 in Quendon, Essex, England, childbirth.
From 14 November 1302, her married name became de Bohun.
