Female + Joan of Acre Plantagenet

+ Joan of Acre was born in 1272 in Acre, Hazafon, Israel.1   + Joan of Acre's father was + Edward I 'Longshanks' King of England and her mother was + Eleanor De Castilla.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Iii King of England and Eleanore of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand Iii King De Castile and Jeanne De Dammartin. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Edward Ii King of, Edmond (1st Earl of Kent) of, Margaret of, Mary of and --Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 35 on April 23rd, 1307 in Clare, Suffolk, , England.  She was buried on April 26th, 1307 in Priory Church of the Austin Friars, Clare.1 1

‌+ Joan of Acre and Ralph were married in a religious ceremony before August 2nd, 1297.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Thomas, Edward, Mary and Joan.


+ Joan of Acre's second family with + Gilbert 6th Earl of Gloucester De Clare

They had a son and three daughters, named Gilbert, + Eleanor, + Margaret (Countess of Gloudester) and Elizabeth.
