Grand Count of Acquitaine William (The Great) of Poitou V

William, known as The Great, was born in 0995.¹ The Great's father was Count Guillaume (Ironman) of Poitou IV and his mother was Emma de Blois. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume III de Poitou and Gerloc Adelheid. He was an only child. He died at the age of 34 on January 31st, 1029.¹
