Lord Kendal Gilbert de Lancaster (Gilbert de Fitzreinfride) 
Gilbert was born in 1162 in Kendal Castle, Westmoreland, Cumbria, England.1 Gilbert's father was Roger de Lancaster and his mother was Rohais de Romara. His paternal grandparents were 4th Baron of Kendal Gilbert de Lancaster and Goditha de Taillebois. He was an only child. He died at the age of 58 on May 5th, 1220 in Kendal, Westmoreland, England.2 General Notes
